Had a loon in very close to shore this evening. Odd but an opportunity to take a picture or two. Realized very quickly something was wrong with this one. He or she has a fishing lure stuck in its mouth and appeared to be in some distress. Called a bunch of Government Hot Lines but sadly it is the weekend. Animals don't need help on the weekends. I will try to keep an eye on him and hopefully on Monday someone can help.
Sweet!!!!!!! My sister lived in an old log cabin years ago in Eganville. The cats milk use to freeze on the kitchen floor at night in the winter time. lol
Hydroplanes from the Toronto Outboard Racing Club in Haliburton, Ontario this weekend. Got a few shots but I need a longer lens. Quick boats and I did not get to see the really fast ones.
As always Murray, you have a great eye that produces some wonderful pictures.... Nice 67 as well... I spent a few years in my youth trucking Bombardier Ski-doo snowmobiles from Shediac to Wellington NS. They were the Eastern distributor for Ski-doo. Hope you're having a great trip mf... be safe....
Sometimes you just have to get off the beaten path. Without some local knowledge never would have found this place nor drove 11 kms of the highway to see, so glad we did. Point Prim Lighthouse near the ferry from Woods Island to NS.
Why do I have the feeling Eric has been here before. Point Prim Chowder House and Oyster Bar. Food was incredible, great jazz playing and the sun was setting. Best dinner so far, bar none. It smelled like the ocean, wonderful smell mixed with incredibly prepared seafood dishes.
This weird looking C5 was sitting just up the road, looks like someone cut the hatch off to make some sort of odd FRC.
