Tinman, how did you do the moon shot? That is a very interesting shot, I like a lot.

That took a few tries for sure lol! You have to use the timer or a remote shutter release. I used my D40 nikon with a 300mm lens. A tripod is a must too. Then it was just a matter of finding the right exposure. Don't recall what aperture but I think it was close to a half second or full second of exposure. I think aperture was one stop down from wide open for that lens.

Hahaha...just saw the ladder comment...that's hilarious!! Having a little issue seeing all the posts on here...could be me or a mobile thing. I think it depends on if its a comment on the thread or a reply to a specific post. Most likely operator error haha.

Yes, the picture was taken off the end of our dock in Haliburton. I do not have any photo enhancing software so it is exactly as it came out of the camera. It really was beautiful.

Couple of pictures from the Ponoka Stampede on Canada Day. Brenda and I were there as guests of a chuckwagon event sponsor. Always a good time and we really enjoy some of the rodeo events.

The wild pony riding is really entertaining.... These little cowboy kids love it too. Three little tykes try to hold the pony while one gets on it's back....

As you may have noticed. The pony usually wins

And then the little princess gets to round up the ponies.....
