I have a 24 C8 and the first 2000 km the transmission was shuddering when changing gears between 1500 -2000 revs, I made appointment at dealer which was 2 weeks out and it stopped the shuddering the day I took it in. The other issue is when give some throttle where the Revs get up to 5000 and then lift the revs will stay up for what seems like an eternity until I manually put it in a higher gear. The dealer says this is normal but my C7and Camaro's never stayed up. I know it is a different transmission but does anybody experience this? It is very annoying and sounds like I don't know how to change gears when gets up to 5-5500 revs.

It could to a point depend on whether you are in manual or automatic as well as the selected drive mode. Found this for what it’s worth. And welcome to CCF !

I Had the transmission shutter with my 24. Ended up having to get a whole new direct clutch assembly, car was at the shop for a month and half.
What were the symptoms that you noticed ? Did it develop or was it present from the first time you drove it.
Taking off from stops, it would hesitate to shift up to 30km then it would be fine after that. Had the check engine light come on..
