Mushroom season in Alberta. Picked these while walking the dogs yesterday in my pasture. Parasol mushrooms. Been harvesting them for years now and put about 40 bags a year in the freezer....
How did you decide they were edible?
We've got dozens of varieties of mushrooms in our yard, but would I even try to eat them?
