I have a 2024 C8 2LT that doesn’t have the performance exhaust if I choose to purchase a performance exhaust that came off a 2022 C8 2LT and install it on mine will it work by this I mean, will I be able to change the different Sounds from the exhaust system just like if I would have purchased it originally

Welcome to the forum,
No. I'm pretty sure it doesn't have the wiring for the valves.

I actually ended up buying my Borla exhaust with NPP valves on it, and my car was not equipped with the wiring ... so after discussing my faux pas with Borla, the resolution was to tack weld the NPP valves on the exhaust wide open ! AFM valve wiring is on all cars, so your good there and can connect those.

And thats how it is now, full volume/awesomeness all the time !

If you buy a performance exhaust, you can do the same thing. Just have the NPP valves tack welded full open, and off you go.

Where are the valves when at rest? Can they be removed?
Closed ... They could be removed, but then the pipes would need some cosmetic surgery.

We did mine in a way that it can be reversed, so if I was to ever sell them down the road .. anyone with or without NPP could purchase them.

Maybe you can still get them, when I purchased a 2005 C6, I purchased a Corsa exhaust and at the same time installed valves for it that worked by a remote to open and shut them.

I just happen to have a working Commodore 64 . Had it for probably 40 years. Figured it might be worth money someday. And it is . About $50.00 on E-bay …..l
