Pic 1 is the drawing of the engine wiring diagram at fuse block under the hood. I need to figure out where they went to. Pic 2 is the relay don't know what it's for or what it went out to.3rd Pic is of a reset switch of some type or limit switch like the 1s on each headlight but was lying under the hood beside the master cylinder doing nothing. 4th and 5th Pic is of the harness removed and the plug that went to the starter. As you can see they cut everything and are only using the purple selonoid wire and q red the starter don't en know where the other wires are as they are cut off and can't even see them in the harness. The other 1/2 to the starter is all there and still attached to starter undamaged. 6th Pic is a fuse link that is attached the a junction box on drivers fender but unknown what wire attached to it or color. So any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

These guys seem to be pretty highly rated. Perhaps starting with a new harness may be an option. They also have a technical help section as well as a support number to call.
Also found this….
How To Replace C3 Engine & Headlight Wiring Harness (https://www.76vette.com/2020/11/replace-c3-engine-headlight-wiring-harness.html)
Hopefully some help at least.

Hummm. I am a mecanic and trying to repair an electrical mess created by some eslse is a nightmare for sure. The problem is that a wiring diagram is, most of the time, a complete wiring includind connectors or systems that may not be present on the cars depending the options and where the car was meant to be sold (ex: california), sometime a new harnest is a good solution, might take some time to install but you end up with all new connections. You may talk to Patrick from Corvette Plus ((514) 955-3419) to order one, he might be able to help you. If you decide to fix yours, dont weld anything before you are sure this systeme is fully fonctionnal, then weld and use double wall heat shrink. Good luck and keep us informed of the evolution of the project.

Thanks I've downloaded a few aswell but like said don't match colour's or in same position ect. Yes thought of getting a new harness aswell but I know I can repair too and have a 75,76 aswell for parts but every single year they changed something Rrrrr. But yes last resort if I can't get an answer will be to set it aside and start from scratch and find a 74 donor the same or purchase new which I'm trying to avoid if I can. Just hoping someone has a 74 that can follow and trace what these wires and colors go to so I can reconnect them. Yes it's a HEI so some will not be needed but would like to repair and set aside if not needed but returned back to stock.

I hear you. I’m an electrician and when I hear “ I have a problem with my vehicle wiring “ I usually laugh to myself and walk away……I agree with the new harness approach especially on older vehicles with numerous apparent problems not to mention the ones not yet discovered. I posted a couple of links above.

I have restored 8 cars and trucks over the years and
the first thing I do is pull the wire harness and put it
in the garbage. I have been a member of the AACA for many years and
can't tell you how many times members have decided to use an existing
harness and watched their car burn before their eyes.
Yes, it will cost you $1000 give or take but well worth it.
I highly recommend American Autowire for both a quality product and tech backup
should you need it.
Good Luck with your project

Here's another Pic of unknown wire and plug. This 1 was in the headlight harness taped up to the loom. Any ideas?

There will be those that once they see this post that will do their best to find the best solution for you . If for no other reason than bragging rights , lol . Best bet for many reasons is still a new harness . Ya , I know . Welcome to CCF !

Here seeing as how none believes the previous owner was a butcher and I'm banging my head against the wall. I told you all there was more to come. Good news is the donor vette has this wiring at least and is for the ac blower assembly ect. Yes some may even be part and attached to the the 1st harness but i wouldnt know because of there are no connections. Pics speak for themselves. 😭 trust me guys 1 way or another this l82 will for to life come hell or high water.
