Buying advice for a 2025 Corvette

The only adjustment on the FE1 and FE3 are a manual adjustment on the spring seats. A pia so not something you want to do regularly but you can adjust the ride somewhat this way to what you prefer for normal driving.

The statement "No adjustment at all" doesn't apply to the FE4. Z Mode has 6 settings not 4 being Steering, Suspension, Engine/Shift, Brake Feel, Engine Sound and Performance Traction Management. A second push of the Z Mode button also gives you access to other settings like Wet, Dry, Sport, Race 1 and Race 2 which I use on the track. Ron Fellows used Race 1 when I was in the car with him this summer at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park running laps in a Z07, Z06 with CF wheels. The FE4 makes a big difference especially on a track and over uneven surfaces at speed. Officially it is described:
Corvette Stingray customers who opt for the Z51 package can also opt for the Magnetic Ride Control and Performance Traction Management (RPO code FE4). Essentially, Magnetic Ride Control uses accelerometers in the suspension to actively “read” the road and provide data to the ECU, which then adapts the damper settings on the fly for improved ride quality and performance.
Performance Traction Management is a multi-mode traction control system with five different settings for the C8’s various onboard systems, providing greater flexibility for those drivers that want to wrestle more control away from the the computers when it comes to tire slippage on the track.

Very informative as usual. These machines are getting more complicated and computer like by the day . Just took a look and found this about Z mode settings , not a bad description. Cleared up a few questions I had as did your post thanks..... and yes it is AI .

To customize Z Mode on a C8 Corvette for different driving conditions, follow these steps:

I had an opportunity to ride in Mr. Corvette HTC recently, I could tell the slight difference even on decent paved road, it it were on rough surfaces, I bet the difference would be even more so?
Anyone that know how the eLSD in the Z51 FE3/FE4 works, do appreciate it.
Mag ride is a must have FE4 and wish I had on my car. That is just my opinion of course.

The deals on these cars are incredible right now! Thanks to that gas cap fiasco. Got $15k off my new 2025 Z06. Granted that’s down here in the States. I shipped it from NH to FL. They happened to give me the most for my 2022 Toyota Supra. So it worked out for the best. But those deals can be had all over.
