Great idea for next year. Maybe a few of us could meet you for coffee at Lock 36 in Kirkfield. And, there should be plenty of opportunities for great photos along the way there and back.

Dale and I are definitely game. We live between Peterborough and Lindsay. Just east of Fenelon Falls on County road 8 heading to Bobcaygeon is this. https://plus.google.com/101262556761531402995/about?gl=ca&hl=en Then there is Kawartha Dairy in Bobcaygeon with the best ice cream in the country. Food for thought for a couple of stops.

With all the stops, it might take two days and we'll all gain a few pounds in the process. We have gone on two day leaf runs in the fall when we had our Chevelle on the road. A group of us would take off Saturday morning touring through north of the Kawartha Lakes, east through Bancroft, over to Smiths Falls, down to Kingston, across the Glenora ferry to Picton and along Highway 2 back to Port Hope and north to home. We stayed over night in Smiths Falls and they are on the Rideau Canal system. North Port, between Smiths Falls and Kingston, is a nice small town with shopping for the ladies and a lookout similar to the one at Haliburton. There is certainly no lack of places to go around here.

I forgot I had this photo from Bowling Green, but it's a unique demonstration of what I believe is some of the hidden metal bracing in these old cars.

The photo was taken late one cool June evening before visiting the Corvette Museum the following morning.

I keep saying it over and over again... that is one beautiful car

Thank you.

I remember when the C6 first came out and Gen-Auto shippers got an early one on the lot. They look so low coming at you. I figured that I'd grab a photo, side by side.

Funny thing is, turns out my old Corvette is lower. :D

There's something that I really like about that picture.........Ours is silver just like that one. With only 2-3 inches under the front air dam, I certainly wouldn't want ours any lower. You can't really see it in that picture but not much air goes under the car. I worked just across Stephenson road in the truck plant from 1983-2006.
