Thanx everyone for the welcomes,new vette owner here wanted one ever since I was a kid an finally took the leap an got a sweet little 07 convert.Had it on trickle charge 2 amps,went back to check and it showed it was overcharging a little so disconnected for to long.when I checked it showed 25%,tried charging 6 amp in the car an alarm came on an lights started blinking.was told if unhooked a bunch of stuff would have to be reset.what to do.

Hi Wade, welcome to CCF. Have you tried putting it back on the 2 amp charge for a while to see if it will slowly bring it back? You should probably consider a smart charger that you can leave on the car all the time if it is going to be sitting for 1-3 weeks so this doesn't happen again.
It will just come on and shut off as needed so the charge stays at full. Check your owners manual for resetting various items if you do end up having to replace the battery.
