I think this is real. My son just sent it to me.

What’s the price going to be? $650,000 after taxes!?
GM hasn't finished testing the ZR1 and it will be another year before one arrives here in Canada. Nor have the bean counters sat down to figure out the costs on the car and what they will charge for it. For those that have deposits and think that they will be able to get an allocation I will give you what I estimate based on looking back at pricing for previous generations ZR1's.
The base price of the 2025 ZR1 without freight, dealer fees, or yet to be announced price increases for 2025 in Canada should start at:
Coupe 1LZ base price $191,099 CDN
HTC 1LZ base price $200,199 CDN

I think it will be $200,000 USD so about 260,000ish CAD

Prior ZR1s also had "normal" horsepower bumps. 190-200k starting would seem normal if the ZR1 was making 800-850 horse power but its making 1064.

So basically double the historical price difference of a Z06 and ZR1 and that will be the price. If its cheaper than that were lucky.

I'm betting it will be about 160-170k USD or 245-250k CAD with luxury tax starting price before options.

Best case scenario it only sees a 1.5x increase over the historical increases and it will still be about 230k after luxury tax starting.

Next step will be the ZR1-E.
All wheel drive, courtesy of an electric motor up front (surely they still have room), complimenting this new twin-turbo.
It will be released in 2028 as the 75th Anniversary Edition, so you will get a special badge and door sill plates.
Yours for the cost of a nice two storey, four bedroom home, along with your left leg (which is superfluous anyhow).
If you are in, just send me a personal note with your credit card information, and I will do my very best to get you on a list.

Never thought I'd say this about a 200k Corvette but Scott that would be a bargain at those estimates, I'm guessing more like 250k Coupe 1LZ
