Time is relative.
Remember this little ditty?
For some reason it popped into my head this morning.
The Archies - Sugar Sugar
Funny, the first version I found had animation in the video and it had sounds that screwed up the song.Wasn't that a comic book ?

The Archies - Sugar Sugar
This was Rush performing at the Juno's with Anika Miles drumming.
Ya, there's a lot of Anika on Facebook. She's a really good drummer. Last I heard from Geddy is they have about 30 songs figured out with her.Geddy can still rock it.... Even at your age Murray...Anika is a great drummer too... Not Neil but a lot better looking...

I'm sure I had heard of it but of course it was well before " my time" ........Funny, the first version I found had animation in the video and it had sounds that screwed up the song.
The Archies were a fictional bubblegum-pop band from the animated 1968 TV series The Archie Show, featuring characters Archie, Jughead, Betty, Veronica, and Reggie. They are best known for the 1969 hit "Sugar, Sugar," which was actually performed by studio session musicians led by singer Ron Dante.
Origin: Created by producer Don Kirshner, The Archies were a "virtual band" aimed at capitalizing on the popularity of The Monkees and the Archie Comics characters.
The Singers: While the cartoon characters "played" the instruments, the music was produced by Jeff Barry and featured session vocalists including Ron Dante, Andy Kim, and Ellie Greenwich.
"Sugar, Sugar": Released in 1969, this song became a #1 hit in the US and UK, becoming one of the most successful bubblegum pop songs in history.
Other Hits: They also had success with songs like "Bang-Shang-A-Lang," "Jingle Jangle," and "Who's Your Baby".
