Who Will Be Taking Their Vette For A Drive On Sunday?

Careful when you go to Africa, they have lots of animal dishes that look like that. As a scuba diver, I prefer to be under the water to be aware of what's around me as well.
The picture of that Eastern Fox snake was taken at Point Pelee . Non venomous fortunately .In Vietnam drinking snake blood is fairly common but I take a pass on that even if it works like Viagra as they try to claim , lol .

I would pass on that as well.

I think we have gotten slightly off topic. 😳

Back to my car being In Storage …. For 1-2 more weeks :(

Need more sympathy please …
David, best I can do is sunny and 9C next Sunday to match this thread topic which should work AND the same sunny and 9C for the following Saturday and Sunday in your area! Rain next Friday and Saturday will give your roads a wash to make it work for you next Sunday!!

Maybe we can start looking at driving possibilities next weekend which is looking good for us in southern Ontario to get this thread back on topic!
Maybe Saturday? 🤞
Took mine out to grap takeout today. I have seen another widebody out at the last second as I passed the intersection. Too late to 👋. My focus is on avoiding any potholes.

Hope you missed any potholes, for us 13C and 16C next weekend with sun and cloud so that should work. The following Saturday I have my first club cruise and looking good full sun and 12C. Hope it holds so we can get out again.

We hit a balmy -2 day before yesterday so I fired mine up for the first time this year. Hit the button and it started immediately. Readout said the oil temp was - 2 , same as the air so that's accurate. Brought it up to temperature which took so long it said auto shutdown in 4 minutes , lol. Rolled it ahead so the tires rotated 180 degrees and shut her down. Almost shed a tear.....

I feel your pain. Our temps have been slightly into the plus range but we get an inch or 2 of snow every night...-3 here this morning and April looking pretty shitty throughout. Couple of 14 degree days later this week and then back down in low single digits. I need more than that to get dried out enough for the Vette to come out to play. This what it looks like this morning.

It would still be on the hoist for 6 months a year anyway...No urge to take my Vette out for winter driving. Our roads are predominantly ice in the winter and we have a significant population of idiots that have no idea how to drive anytime, let alone on icy roads. AWD doesn't help when somebody slides into you because they have a very limited number of brain cells. Has happened to me twice on icy roads and both times I was stopped at a red light and both times the drivers thought there was something wrong with either their brakes or their steering, when it really was the fact that someone thought they deserved to have a license to drive in Canada.

I have lived here for almost 44 years and this is the latest and coldest spring I can remember. Officially one of the coldest winters on record period. March was the coldest since 1964 and December was the third coldest on record. And of course you know what January and February are usually like , lol.
Good to see all the snowfall down your way through even if it is inconvenient. Even a bit of drought relief is welcomed I'm sure.
This is what it looks like this morning! Too bad we couldn't send it your way

You can keep it! LOL
While we didn't get your quantity, the frequency of events far surpasess anything I remember in my lifetime. Snow almost every day since mid December until mid March.
