Poll Which interior 1LT or a 3LT?

3LT trim package is the only way to go. If you're tight on money buying a new Vette, a 2LT is passable but if you're buying used, you will get a $9000.00 trim package at a bargain price.

Nice. The Grand Sport gives you some great options including the wide body style of the Z06, the Z suspension, wheels, Z brakes, etc. I would highly recommend that you have a pretty thorough car inspection done as well. It doesn't take much on a used Corvette to add up additional costs that might hide from an untrained eye. Check the tires for sidewall cracking even if the tread is good. Open the hood and feel the engine. It should be cool unless it was started before you came. Regardless, start the car and let it run while you inspect. Inside, have a good look at the driver's seat. for wear and wrinkling. Toggle through the traction and ride options mode button to see if they all change. Look at all the gauges to make sure they all work. Also have a look at the battery and below. The a computer module is mounted below the battery and if the battery has been leaking acid, it can wreck the computer and some of the wiring. This is not super common but have a look anyway. See if it has the optional Mag ride. If it does, there should be a wire coming out of the top of the shocks. Pull both the oil dipstick and if it's an automatic, that dipstick. Colour should be good and wipe both on your fingers and smell. There shouldn't be any burnt like smell. That's about all I got but again, having a mechanical inspection is definitely worthwhile. Spend the 2 or 3 hundred bucks. Hope any of this helps you make a good choice.

All excellent points! It is very beneficial to me as I have never owned a Corvette. Always been an admirer. Thank you for taking the time to respond, much appreciated. I have really enjoyed learning about Corvette’s and all the different generations. I can’t wait to finally get my butt in the seat 😀 This forum has been invaluable and I say thank you to all members and moderators!
 
For the C8 I’d go with either a 2LT /3LT but you need to ensure you have mag ride and the front lift. I looked around and was almost about to buy a used 2LT but the seats were not GT2 and for some of the features that came with the 3LT, I just went new and got the car that I wanted and made me happy. It’s all about your budget and whether some of the features matter to you or not.

I ordered my '22 (in '20) with 3LT in Sky cool grey. The 1st layer of foam under the leather is black. The perforations in the leather get progressively larger front to back. That makes the seat & back look dirty. So when I traded it on a '23, I dropped down to 2LT in the same colour. 2LT has perforations all the same size, so you don't get a dirty effect. As said, 2 to 3 is mostly cosmetic. The fancy embroidered headliner is the most noticeable item.

Go the 3LT. On the 2011 GS, any lower trim lever and you lose a lot of features these guys who own C7's and C8's don't realize. The 2LT and lower had no Bluetooth, no heads up display.... I could go on and on but do your homework and see for your self.

GS is an awesome choice for all the reasons noted.

Ya, I didn't notice it was a C6 until after I posted. On a used car you get higher trim levels virtually for free.
