Curious what everyone thinks about the direction Corvette is heading...

There are so many different versions of the C8 now, and the lineup has changed quite a bit from where it started with the Stingray.

For those who already own a C8, if you were buying again today, would you still go with the same model/spec you have now? Or is there another version you’d be looking at?

Also curious how many people here still prefer the simplicity of the Stingray versus stepping up into one of the higher-performance models. Each Corvette variant really has its own identity, and depending on what you want out of the car, you could probably even make an argument for the Stingray over the Z06 in some cases.

Interested to hear everyone’s takes.... I’m sure this won’t start any arguments at all 😂

I'm very happy with my 2020 Stingray. Will I ever go for another? I doubt it. They are now too expensive. I'm hoping to keep my 2020 as long as I can. Likely another 14 years. :D

I started with a red on red 2021 stingray 2LT HTC with npp exhaust, perfect spec to tie me over until a Z06 would become available that I would order in Rapid Blue with two tone blue interior. But it took too long and the price was too high so I ordered a rapid blue on two tone blue 2024 stingray 3LT HTC with z51 and mag ride instead, but ended up paying a $12,000 msrp increase and $5,000 lux tax for essentially same car which I love and would be happy to keep forever if GM ruins the C9. Only reason I went with a 3LT is to get the blue interior.

When it comes to a C9 I plan to order a HTC 1LT with Z51 and mag ride in yellow, green or orange which ever shade looks more exotic.

2030 C9 will be shown to the public in the late fall of 2028 and production will start in the fall of 2029 ;) Everyone should start saving up as prices are going to be high
