There is never rhyme or reason.
Last year 2026 production started on August 1st..2025
The Canadian build and price went active for 2026 on October 20th. 2025
Gm Canada has other models to update ahead of low volume Corvette sales.

Ouch, that sucks. Pricing not till fall but can't order a 2026 in April. That sounds like a dumb plan for GM sales.

The U.S. pricing has already been released so the Canadian pricing should be out soon.
It's redoing the build and price configurator at chevrolet.ca that takes the longer time.

Yeah the base car prices have been released but I'm looking and hoping for the build website to be updated
Dealers and Mr Corvette probably have the information right now if you want it sooner.
They do not, educated guesses unfortunately. Hopefully we see pricing soon.

I hear you. You will be looking at a 27' . Oddly the Canadian 2026 build and price still comes up. I believe the deadline to place an order was March 26 . Somewhat misleading.

Yes. Chevrolet used “Sting Ray” as two words on the 1963–1967 Corvette, and again in 1968 marketing/materials even though the car didn’t wear the badge that year. In 1969–1976, it was spelled “Stingray” as one word on the emblems and in advertising.
Timeline
1963–1967: Sting Ray was the official two-word name for the C2 Corvette.
1968: Chevrolet still referred to the Corvette as Sting Ray in brochures, but the car itself did not carry the emblem.
1969–1976: The name returned as Stingray, one word.
Practical takeaway
So if you’re being precise, “Sting Ray” is the earlier two-word version, while “Stingray” is the later one-word version.

Not sure if this helps anyone about ordering a 2027 but I spoke to my salesman yesterday and he advised that eventhough the pricing isn't out yet, you can put in an order for one as they did already last week. Only catch is you put your order in with the options you want but are bound by the future price increases when the offical prices come out
Yup. If you want the car you'll have to accept that, but you can always cancel the order before it gets accepted by GM.
I ordered my 2020 in 2019 long before we knew the CDN pricing., I want the car and I had a ball park figure using the U.S. pricing.
