Question What is this rubber piece?

Just a guess but perhaps a vibration damper of some kind. Or a jack pad …….?

I agree it is probably some sort of anti vibration piece. It was on the top side of the aluminum pan so not a jack pad. No sign of a sticky back unless it has worn off. Likely something to stop the pan from vibrating. But where?

Yes .You have to read between the lines with information from AI search for sure. The link at the bottom of my post shows that it’s from an AI search engine. I’m not personally familiar with Corvette Depo so can’t really comment on them . Good to know though , thanks.
I also did that and saw numerous similar parts but none identical. Good find. Maybe it will show up in one of the exploded views.
