Friend and I (he has a C5) drove to Blowing Green Sunday, back Tuesday. On Monday we got the assembly plant tour followed by a visit to the museum where we also managed to see a C8 customer delivery. Pretty neat to watch the experience. I have been waiting many years for this trip, just never had anyone to do it with. Every aspect of it all was superb! The plant tour was amazing. Saw every model currently being sold being built. Got to see a ZR1, an E-Ray and a Z06 each getting the "marriage" where the front and rear drivetrain assemblies get mated to the rest of the car. And the bonus was seeing a ZR1 AND a ZR1X in employee parking spots in front of the main (offices) entrance. The new Roswell green looks nicer than I thought it would. We also saw a sample of the new upcoming matt/flat silver colour. Attaching a few pics. I think if I trade in my '23 C8 plus our two family '25 daily drivers I MIGHT be able to get a ZR1X. Trying to figure out how I can get my wife to see the necessity of that.
