I assume it's done in Canada as well as the states .After all women must have invented it because its one of those days that "they" get something . My demise is this I'm 67 and been with my wife for 61 years ,I've run out of cheap things to do .I'm not buying her diamonds or car that would mean ya have to top it each year.

What's everyone doing for their SO ?

My 'SO' made that decision when she left last May. GR.

So Terry and I are treating Mom to a special day. She'll love it and deserve it.

I bought my ZR1 on Valentine's Day(2013) and my wife was really happy I did it. Didn't want anything in return either. Elf, if I did the math correctly, you have been married to your wife since age 6? lol. Now that is what I call "staying power."

Good morning!

Something I have been thinking about myself.

Oddly if I can find the same model, an upgraded Bluray player for my SO so that she can watch Netflix on her TV and not just on her computer............there are HDMI cable problems that prevent her from doing so at the moment. But I checked at the store where I got mine and not only does that model appear to be notlonger availabe but everything else was sold out too!

I suffer most from trying to come up with something to get her that is going to get used and be enjoyed. I've done the jewelery, flowers, candy and supper thing often enough that I've moved to a more practical mode in my life and go for things that have a little bit more of a lifespan.

Sorta .we met in the first grade ,first girl I ever kissed .She was a blond blue eyed swedish girl with a 36 inch bust ,I felt sorry for her because she kept falling on her face .We eloped to Canada and got married at 19 years old

Garry, if you want the best way to let her watch Netflick on TV get a "Chromecast". It is really lovely watching it on a big screen TV. Best $35 I've spent on media in a long time.. But they are only available from the States. Google it and then if you want, go and order it from Amazon etc.

Damn, I was always trying chocolates, flowers and sweet talk .... I can see now that was all messed up. Should have been Chainsaws, shovels, vacuums, and irons.
