Didn't see many 340 Dusters with the 3 speed. Good choice dropping the 4 speed in...My duster had a stock "Hurst Mystery Shifter" in my 3 speed tranny. It was a mystery how it ever made a shift! LOL.
I replaced it with a 4 speed tranny with a much better hurst shifter.
Picked up my new Z06 last week thanks to Mr. Corvette. Put 303 km on it and dropped it off to get PPF and tint. Can't wait to get it broken in but will have to get used to this automatic thin

Thanks. I could not even see if my ? got through. Either the computer glitched or this site.Sea wolf grey
And your 'manual' will never be as quick or have paddle shifters no matter what you might want to call them! lol
Yep it's the driver experience. I'm not racing it. That's what my motorcycle is for. And I miss the fun of launching the car with the clutch. That being said the car is wicked. No argument there Murray, nor does there need to be. Your DCT shifts one gear to the next extremely quick but it's not you doing that. It's automatic....
You can do the same thing with the DCT, though I haven't tried it myself. Hold both paddles in, rev the engine and let go the paddles.Yep it's the driver experience. I'm not racing it. Still doesn't sound like working the clutch. Revvin the pi** out of it and dragging the clutch. I'll have to look into that though. You can do the same thing with the DCT, though I haven't tried it myself. Hold both paddles in, rev the engine and let go the paddles.
Ya, you can't slip the clutches afaik.Still doesn't sound like working the clutch. Revvin the pi** out of it and dragging the clutch. I'll have to look into that though.
After you do it a few times something will likely start to slip....Ya, you can't slip the clutches afaik.
