We got our 2025 stingray now four months. Love it well built surprisingly practical.
But there is no way this cars has 495 horsepower. I got the sport exhaust etc.
I at full speed had my buddy's 2019 mustang blow by me on highway with ease.
Then our other friend 2016 camaro roast me. Both with ease.
I had car to dealer ship they keep assuring me it's fine.
Until my last visit a mechanic took it quickly in highway said same thing it works great but feel like 300 HP .
Of course service manager said well it's not broken in yet.
Anybody have same or similar exp of way less power.
What should I do next?

Mine pulls strong. Have you tried Track mode ? That will give you full beans . If you have access to a Dyno you could find out what it makes at the rear wheels which is what really counts. Was the Mustang a GT 500 or the Camaro a ZL1 ? Because those are both very fast cars .

Let's let the new guy respond before we spend anymore time on this...
Just trying to be progressive and fully inclusionary......... that screenshot shows 400 meters , pretty darn close to a quarter mile. Was that from a dead stop ? Stingray should run the quarter somewhere around 11.2 seconds at about 120 mph . That looks pretty close.

OK, well you are well past the torque limited KMs. Do you drive in Manual or auto. What speed were you doing when you punched it? I find it doesn't necessarily hit the right gear depending on what you were doing just before punching it in auto. I'd use manual if you are on the highway and looking at "performance".

I would suggest you test drive your car in manual mode and get a better feel for instantaneous acceleration at each rpm in each gear. Peak acceleration is dependent on RPMs. I don't drive a C8 but I have a C7 7 spd manual with a palrtry 470 hp and it feels every bit the 470 and more. There's a sweet speed/rpm/gear for every vehicle. Find it for yours.

Have you pressed the Z button on the steering wheel yet ? Big difference from Tour or Sport mode . And it can be configured for several different parameters as well. You will get it sorted. Just have to play around with the various drive modes and their settings. The two that can be tweaked are Z mode and Sport mode if you weren't aware.
