Hey all
I was on hwy 1 Saturday going out to Chilliwack and I end up taking down a new BMW M3 SUV I think it was, anyway....he was brappin all the way out to Abotstford, anyway I came up to pass him and he punches it.

I punch back and blow by him, literally as I see blue coming out the back, and we are at 180 clicks (yes I know speeding , but it was clean open on a st8 away. I see him peel off and I back down to limit, and now notice oil at idle. She still has giddy up but I think it blew the oil control rings out.

She just had her 300,000 kms anniversary, so in she goes for a rebuild tomorrow.

.060" over, new cam, and hypertechtic pistons ...cant remember the spelling) hopin to get 5.9 liters, 360 CID and a new lease on her.

Bond Mechanical Ltd in Burnaby is doing the surgery.

My buddy Al is a master, and owns the place. I used to work there so I am biased lol.

I get it back after our trip to Fairmont Hotsprings....that I was hoping to take the Vette to, but good thing I didnt.

She gonna be plenty ready for a big trip tho afterwards!!

$5,000 ripped up, blown out, resewn up and Installed!!

I wouldn't have the time right now to do fellows C4 repairs....AT THIS TIME.

I may have time later in the winter or spring but not at the moment I can't. I cant even make it to Grahams to get my magazines he gave me lol!

The shipping would be really costly also, a top weighs somewhere near just under 16 lbs i think, for the lexan tops. 25 for the fiberglass ones I read somewheres.

change oil and filter in 500 kms. break in still for 1k kms. I'm really contemplatig g a drive to Abbotsford airport for a drive and a photo in front of the Voodoo on display.
