Hello
An update on my TPMS Issue. I just replaced the tires last Thursday so I installed new TPMS Sensors on both rear rims. Sure enough after driving about 35klm’s on my way home I got the same error code on the dash.

I can park the car overnight, come out in the morning and start it and everything is fine, I check the TPMS tire pressures on the dash and all is good, each tire registers a pressure. There is no warning on the dash. So off I go for a ride and after driving about 35klm’s the error message appears and there is no tire pressure reading on the rear tires LR XXXX, RR XXXX. If I shut the car off for a short time 30 minutes or so and start it up the message is still on the dash. If I park it overnight and start it the next day all is good. Until I drive about 35klm’s then the error message appears. Maybe a bad/faulty RCDLR or a BCM Unit?

Anybody have this problem before? Thanks
Stu.

Even though the new sensors are "new", are you sure they're not "old"?
You're listing symptoms of failing (sensor)batteries.

Have you tried disconnecting your battery?
I did this to fix a problem I had with the seat and side mirror memory option.

To reset your car's computer (ECU/ECM) by disconnecting the battery:
  1. Turn off the ignition and remove the key.
  2. Disconnect the negative (black) terminal first, using a wrench.
  3. Wait 15-30 minutes to drain residual power from the system's capacitors.
  4. Reconnect the positive terminal, then the negative.
This process clears short-term memory, minor electronic glitches.

Hi Murray, I’ve had 2 sets of (new bought) TPMS Sensors installed in the car within the last year. One set from Napa and the other from GM Parts Depot. The set from GM were installed last fall with less than 3000klm on them. Because I’m only having an issue with the rears, GM just sent me 2 replacements. Installed them last Thursday and they are doing the exact same thing. To answer your question no I don’t think they would all be old.

Thanks for your reply! 👍

Thank you for responding. No I have not tried disconnecting the battery but I will definitely give it a try! In your post #2 you mention removing the black terminal first. I assume after that I would remove the positive terminal?

I will post the results. Thanks again!

Yes remove negative then positive terminals. Then as per item 4 when reconnecting reverse the sequence.
Good Luck!
