Question Tires sizes

The guy I sold the rims to can't find any for the fronts ( 265/40 -17).
Will a 255/40 17 on the front and a 295/35 18 on the mess up the traction control?
his car is not a Z06

I'm running a 255/40/18 in front and a 295/35/18 in the rear. I've had no traction control problems.

I don't think there would be an issue Jim but some quick measurements would put the concern to rest.

I’m looking for tires as well for my Z06 rms...
MICHELIN no longer makes PS2 Tires 265/40-17s for the fronts.
They do however still list a 275/40-17 but are out of stock in their warehouse.
Most tire manufacturers have stopped making a good selection of 17” tires.
Very tough to find these days.
I’m hoping to locate a pair of 274/40-17s at a local tire warehouse..
Every once and a while I stop in at a tire store and ask if they have any in their personal warehouse.
I also need to locate 295/35-18s for the rears.
They are still listed on the Michelin site but also not available from their warehouse!,
Frustrating.

Thanks for the suggestions, I sent the guy back his deposit, no more interest in rims as of lately.

Just looked at Summit Racing and they have a number of brands available in the 275/40/17 including Michelins in stock. They ship to Canada as well but if you have a border pickup up spot that would be ideal.

Jim, sorry you lost your sale on the rims.
