Tire pressures

We went for a ride through belfountain yesterday and the tires were crazy high in this extreme heat!!
Started out at 210 kpa and got as high as 244. The ride started to get a bit bumpy lol.

Surprised it was bumpy with only 5 psi increase but I guess these are pretty narrow sidewalls.

from cold pressure at 210 (30.5 psi) the pressure will rise 1 psi for every 6 degre celcius, these tire warms up real fast on hot pavement, 244 (35.4 psi) is normal after you drive on hot days

210 to 244 sounds like a lot but it isn't really.

A 700km day cruise from just South of Edmonton, thru the Edmonton area to St.Paul and back on Canada Day
had outside temps in the high 30's and tire pressures on my C7 reached into the 260's. With my non-magride suspension,
yes it can be a bit rough depending on the condition of the pavement.

Don't know if youse agrees but on a very hot day , before I start out I put my pressure down to 28lbs. cause they rise to 36lbs. so fast. THE INNER OF MY TIIRES GET THE WORST WEAR.

No biggie, this is very normal and the tires can handle a lot of pressure safely.

210kpa to 244kpa is only a 2 psi increase. Nothing to worry about.

Actually, 210 KPA is 30.45 psi, 244 KPA is 35.39 psi, so 5 psi increase. 1psi is about 7 kpa, still nothing to worry about but still surprising that they will go up 15%.

Nitrogen might be a good solution as it isn't affected buy temp.
