Time for summer tires???

I just installed new all seasons and rims.

Put the original summer only tires and wheels in storage.

Maybe I have done this backwards.
I don't think you did. Actually I think you made the smart choice. I mean, If you're pushing the car that hard on the street that you notice a difference between the A/S 4's and a summer only tire then you should probably be in jail......hahaha.

on 4th line of Oro/Medonte-backcountry road-my fault just not paying attention to lousy road-just seating in rims to check wheel torque settings-so first drive of 2026 on carbon rims which came on car, not my choice, but loved the look-ah well no more unless I find some equally unfortunate soul with a good set of a front and a rear carbon fiber rim! Probably end up with just a set of black oem rims like my winter tires have. Definitely a depressing first summer wheel drive for this year!
Make a claim with the township. It won't hurt to ask. Was your PDR running? Mine was and I had video and audio evidence.

Note just an old fart who splurged on a above his class car-probably my last one so looking for some solid guidance and suggestions-eray is my only car so got a buddy to go out to take pics of the "hole" -just waiting on them
yes pdr was running must admit I have never looked at it-safe bet I was over the "speed limit" so do I really want "them" to see it or present it???? This is the big question for this post. Also Shall I get a lawyer involved since final claim figure probably $20k +

Got replacement quote from the dealership I got the car from (3hrs away-never been there as this car purchased and trade in all done seamlessly on line) (note I bet quoted figure a long way from my actual cost but have a quote to present to "township of Oro/Medonte) probably not my actual cost) quote is $18,000 for two wheels -no labor shipping etc in that figure so probably well over $20k with taxes, mounting transport etc etc

Yes I hit the hole, yes I might have been a bit over speed limit and yes I was stupid to venture down a township concession road in the spring and not drive expecting the roads to be falling apart. Just in-Note apparently without any input from me the Township has already patched the hole less than 24hrs after my "incident" so that adds another level of challenge to pursuing this whole issue???

So big questions-pdr review/reveal?? Lawyer?? worth the effort???

I edited the video to wipe out the speed.

Just a thought but you might want to submit this still pic that brings attention right to the potholes.

Jeez, that sounded gross. 😔

Is the red marker usually there to indicate someone's approach/driveway?
Do you mean the red boomerang? That's the reflection off the dash and is almost always seen. One of the issues with the C8. The tan 3LT is even worse.
