thinking hard for about a split second

Don’t waste the moment Bill. Do it before she changes her mind.
I’ve never driven a C5. Only C6 and C7. I imagine the C5 is a darn sweet ride as well.
The C7 is certainly full of gadgets and actually has comfortable seats compared to the C6.
On the down side..you can lose an hour of fun driving setting up your dash on the C7 if you get lost in all the stuff in there....
I call that warm up time...

Bill. They improved on all the things that needed improvement from the past generations and they also improved on all the things that didn't need improvement when they designed and built the C7. This is a totally remodeled car and they listened to their critics. I'm certain you will be impressed.

Life is short William. If you can afford it, go for it! I have not regretted my C7 purchase at all. It has been an awesome experience, and the most enjoyable car I have ever driven. And as they say, "the wife is always right" especially in this moment.
:worship:

as a CCF saying goes .... Happy Wife ... Happy C7 Owner !
don't let you head hurt too much from thinking ... why wait to sell the C5
... just trade it in and grab a huge discount if they are out there.
they are huge in Alberta if you find a 2017 you want on a lot ...
otherwise the 2018 stop production allocations soon I hear
Cheers!

Dont even turn and look back for a second...

How quick you guys are to throw the C5 under the bus.

Not really sure if I was to sell mine if I would replace it with anything.

Do what makes you happy Bill but if I was to get another one I want a copy of Ziggy's car.

Not sure what I'm going to do fellas. Still building the house and haven't had the C5 out once this year because of time. The C5 was left to me by my father-in-law so I will have a great deal of trouble with that.
Also. I have spent some serious coin on the car which I know I won't get back. I don't think I want to do anything right now.
I have some serious cash in model airplanes that I may sell. This would allow me to keep the C5 and perhaps grab the C7 as well.

Thanks for all the advice......all good advice from a bunch of good guys.

Bill

ps there was no alcohol involved with my wifes statement.

Bill, how you ended up with the ownership of the C5 certainly would be a factor in the decision making process. He may be glad to see you move it on because that is what he would have done? Not knowing the man that of course is just a guess but having two Corvette is just the second step in a "collection".

How is the house coming by the way?

If I ever decide to sell my C7, you will be on the list, but don't hold your breath.

Wife says....hey...........would you sell the C5 in order to buy a new C7.:)

Bill
Yes most definitely. I traded (trade better than selling - save taxes) in my C5 - 03 vert last spring for my current ride. I loved the styling of the C5 and it had plenty of pep. I did not like: the manual top or the fact that the damn headlights flipped up and down even going into my garage -I wished you could have programmed them; and, of course, the interior was not great. I could have lived with my C5 though - only 20,000km on it when I traded it in - and I did love the styling!!!! The C7 is an amazing car for the money and ab awesome ride. Go for it!!! Before she changes her mind - LOL.
