It's fairly obvious that there are many here on the forum and in Canada overall that tolerate or support Trump's thinking that he is God's gift to both the US, Canada and the rest of the world. Thanks goodness they are a minority or we might already have been the 51st state. And thank goodness for the people in Canada that actually choose to show their displeasure with Trump and the majority of US citizens by boycotting both their products when possible and refusing to support their economy by vacationing in the US. Not to wish bad on anyone but as the saying goes, 'Karma is a bitch'

No, both are different. The Pahrump owners school is a two day multi event training school in the corresponding model you bought, the Ontario CTMP track is a driving experience where you get to drive 3 different vehicles on the track over an afternoon with dinner at the end. For those in the GTA, the Ontario event can be done for the same money as going to the school in Nevada or for way less if you don't own a Corvette and you want to try out the various models.

Do you think you would like to join us at a CCF afternoon event there?
I certainly would if I were a lot closer. How often does that take place and during what time of the year ?

I'm going to try and book a date for us during the summer. They run the event about 3 times a week for groups of 18 people, but it has to be booked a couple of months in advance or the dates fill up.
That sounds like fun. Maybe on the way to or from an East Coast visit. Do you have a URL for them? And thanks for the offer !

I have heard of this before having seen a few references on this forum but hadn't looked into it. I think I have seen a couple of races broadcast a while back but wasn't aware of the available " driving experiences " . Looks like quite the facility. The cart track would be a blast I bet . Only one waiver, what there most interested in is what level of experience you have with track driving as your going to be on the big track and if your instructor goes fast enough you have the potential to hit 250 kph on the back straight. Go carts don't do that on a small track!!
That's about 65 kph faster than the track in Nevada at the owners school.

That's ~ $1400 fee ($1k USD), airfare, ~$400, car rental $125, $200 for an extra 1 night room, total $2125 CAD. The CTMP cost is simiar for this program?

I would be interested in a track day but being 6 foot six there may not be room in my hardtop convertible for a helmet. What is the track rule about wearing a helmet?
What's the rule regarding leaving the top down ?
Helmets are always mandatory.
Targa tops off are usually up to the event organizer.

There is a discount offered if booked by a GM Dealer which I am speaking to a couple of dealers about. I am not sure how much the pricing will increase for 2026 but it was just under $1400 CDN this year. There is no option to buy insurance like in Nevada and it includes shuttle service at the track and dinner after at the Grand Prix Event Center overlooking the track.

I have not seen a car run at either Ron Fellows location with the top down or removed. The private track rental I have done at Grand Bend does allow it.
I could ask them.

Whooowho! Congrats. I looked at that car and thought it was a great deal. If it were a coupe I would have likely nabbed it.
@Mr.Corvette definitely interested in the track session at CTMP.

Hi Cam, I met up with CDNZ to see his car today. I hope you've been enjoying the mild temps over the past two weeks to break in your new one as well. I have added you to my list for CTMP next year which I have now started.
