my desk has too many stickys that I refer to and share from time to time
and so a thread to place some quotes & miscellaneous to reflect,
be positive, be uplifting and to share great understanding ...
and I am aware this stuff might not be for everyone
but for me, I am able to (bucket-list) clean up my desk …

When I was a teenager, not very long ago, I was walking down the street to the park and a man in a wheel chair, two legs cut below the knee, started talking to me. After a while he asked me if I would like to change places with him for a while. Ever since then I have appreciated having sore feet or sore leg muscles.

Sorry in advance ... I’m going

“Because it needs me” 👍🏻

Same can be said when that same car gets older

... although true, a tough thing to do in the winter months ...

Customers Buy Donuts by the Dozen to Give Owner Time With Ailing Wife
Doughnuts are flying off the shelves at a small business near Los Angeles as customers try to help the owner make time to visit his ailing wife. John Chhan has greeted customers at Donut City in Seal Beach every day for the last 30 years. Last month, Chhan's wife, Stella, suffered a brain aneurysm. She's recovering in a nursing facility. Chhan, who starts work at 4:30 a.m., was at the shop for long hours so Customers want to give him more time to visit his wife by coming in and snatching up doughnuts by the dozens. Trays are sold out by 10:30 a.m., allowing Chhan to close the shop for the remainder of the day and be by his Wife's side.

So, I want Calgary to Bid and Host the 2026 Winter Olympics
because it will be better for our local economy and
create some work needed to help me pay for my Corvette
