Ah, the 50/50 draw at the Canadian Corvette Forums — the perfect game for those who love both the thrill of gambling and the existential dread of statistically inevitable disappointment.
Here’s how it works:
You generously donate your hard-earned cash to keep the forums alive — a noble cause, really, because without the forums, where else would grown adults argue passionately about PPF like it’s a matter of national security?
In return for your donation, you get a ticket to hope. That ticket gets thrown into the metaphorical hat (or probably an algorithm in a spreadsheet, because it’s Canada — we’re efficient). At the end of the contest, one lucky winner gets 50% of the total pot of donations.
The other 50%? That goes to the forum — so we can continue to exist, moderate flame wars, and make sure no one posts a photo of a Mustang by accident or starts a political thread. See we really really need it.
But don’t worry — you probably won’t win. Statistically, almost none of you will. But hey, unlike your last relationship or your third marriage, at least you knew the odds were bad going in.
