I installed my Soler Throttle Controller on my C6 yesterday. WOW! This turned my GS into a BEAST! Very impressed with it right through the entire power band. So far I have only played around with the “Sport” mode I can only imagine what the “Ludicrous” setting will unleash!

15 minute to install. Highly recommend it

Yes. The C6 always had a slight lag hesitation at low RPMs. Glad you are happy with the throttle controller. You might consider installing a catch can as well. Not a performance enhancer but it serves a very good purpose in keeping PCV oil from entering the intake. Just a thought.

How long did it take you and did you have any issues or the dreaded CEL at any point ? Did you also change the throttle body ? Thanks.

Took about 10-15 minutes. Hardest part was getting to the gas pedal and mounting points. Long arms would be good! Other than that had no issues and no issues with the CEL.

No I did not change the throttle body. Honestly I don’t see the need.

Thanks for the info, I too am thinking of ordering one of these throttle controllers (I like the valet and theft prevention features). Did you order directly from Soler in USA? If so, did you have any issues with duties, taxes or “tariffs” when importing into Canada?

You won't be disappointed. Yes I ordered it directly from Soler while I was in Florida over the winter.

I’m thinking I will probably order one when my pension check arrives but maybe we should check with Jack first to make sure that it won’t affect our PPF warranty…..

$229 . $40.00 shipped. Maybe it’s gift wrapped……I usually try to purchase most things from the OEM unless the price difference is significant. Generally find it’s better for support or warranty etc in the event it’s needed.

I think this mod will most benefit for those with high flow cats, headers/exhaust combo? What you say JR?
