Hey nothing like hanging out in the shop with the tunes on tinkering on a nice vette with your favorite beverage on the bench .....I hear ya. Nice looking shop and car!
I have a winter's worth of renovation work ahead of me. I have finished one room in the basement already and have three more to go. I'm also finally getting around to dry walling the garage. I bought one of those units for cranking the drywall up to the ceiling. Talk about handy. The best $130 that I have spent in a long time. The garage has always been a workshop, dusty and dirty and oily.....a real man cave. Now it's going to be turned into a lily white sissy garage. I'll need a flat screen TV on the wall with a DVD player to run my car videos. Maybe some comfy chairs too. The winter should go pretty quickly. Sorry, but there won't be any time to polish the Corvette until this mess is finished and the old body is already letting me know that it isn't pleased.

being able to spend the winter on the car would be great.but my car is 10 miles away in a buddy's shop and he's in florida till april. this past season i let alot of my chores slide because i would rather play with my car. i laughed at myself because i felt like a kid putting off a school project or fibbing to mom about my homework. so i ended up with 6 cord of firewood to block,split,and pile in a rush. thank goodness for my gasoline powered axe. like keith,these poor old bones told me how displeased they were.

Yes it is nice to have the car stored, but also nice to be able to do all those little things that need getting down. I am also doing a bit of fixing-up on my 88,

I've got some things I want to work on as well. Pulled the derby caps and trim rings off the wheels. I want to try and polish them up and then paint the ralley wheels silver again. Interior work to do too. After Christmas.
