Question Skipping PPF and Ceramic

So jealous. Those are beautiful cruise destinations in a Corvette. :heavycar:
I would like to do that on my bucket list. And
East coast including Cape Breton Island's Cabot Trail. 1800 kms away.
Heading to Cape Breton in 1 week ! ;) We have a cottage on the Bras D'Or Lakes, about 20 minutes from the start of the Cabot Trail !! (not to rub it in)

The Cabot Trail is OUTSTANDING and worth the 1800km journey, if you ask me.

Have been around it several times but not for a number years. Truly world class scenery. A friend of mine went around the Trail a couple of weeks ago on his Harley and said that the road is in very good condition. The Highways Department does pay a lot of attention to it due to the popularity of the drive which attracts a lot of visitors which obviously is great for the local economy. Highly recommended trip. Also some excellent golf courses easily accessible along the way. Best time of the year to go is in October because of the fall colours.

October? Isn't it in the Hurricane season those from FL?

Take some pics and share with us?
Btw, have you ever taken your C8 on a ferry or any one out there? I don't have the front lift and had been lowered just .5". Always wondering how it be for clearance wise and those tight spots would fair? :(

No ferry to Cape Breton, you drive over the causeway. The Cabot trail is highly recommended. The ferry is to Newfoundland and the ramps were damn near flat when I took my C6 across, the crew were awesome. Tucked me away in a corner and were very careful directing other vehicles parking near me. I wouldn't hesitate to do it again.

That's good to know. If I want to cross from Saint John to Digby and cross to New Foundland, I can do so. Thanks.

Took my C8 across the Digby Ferry 2 weeks back (both directions), with ZERO issue. Me, 12 other C6, C7 & C8's and 1 Hurican .... First class treatment.

There have been two hurricanes hit NS in the last 23 years but they have also had several tropical storms but not that often really. The weather there in October is usually very good. Simply check the weather forecast and you should be fine.

Tropical storms I was more concern with than Hurricanes. Florida takes most of the steams. lol
Something to think about for next year perhaps.
