I put a new automatic shifter in my 2008 Corvette, I hooked up the cable underneath and bolted it in place but it won't move through the various gears. It is like I am missing something. Anyone that could help me trouble shoot this would be appreciated.

Why did you replace the shifter in the first place?

It was jammed in park and would not move out of it to other gears. I took it out and put the new one in and the shifter will only go in drive or neutral. something is up.
Have you looked at any of the C6 Auto shifter issue videos on the ol interwebs?
