Setting the TPS VOLTAGE?

When setting the TPS sensors voltage on a 85 TPI Vette, do you set it while the car is running or just with the key on or not on at all?

You set it while the car is not running just the ignition in the on position. That's how I used to do it on my TPI 88 IROC
