Saw My First C8 Today

I'm losing track of who said what lol, but I believe GM is tightening up the info even more. The Canuk CC told someone they can't give out status codes any more. The one I talked to on Friday said she would email me when she received that info and another this morning told me they can only respond by email now. She told me the Order Management team was too busy with orders right now.

Hi Sparro, when did you last check your TPW?My HTC TPW was pushed back a week to August 24, I hope yours remains August 3. I really want BGA to start building the HTC's on this date as I know there will be a QC hold.

Hey Joey, I haven't checked for a couple of weeks now. I was gonna wait till next week. I'm hoping I'm still August 3rd, but who knows anymore. I'm hearing there will be a QC hold of a minimum of 2 weeks, maybe longer. So I don't think a week or two really matter because they'll most likely all be delivered around the same time anyway.

I did the Concierge chat thing this morning to confirm the TPW of July 27th. Thats the only info. they will offer these days. Then my salesman called to confirm that TPW and tell me I am at 3300.

As always, to each his/her own. They are obviously very different cars. I personally like the front end look of the C7 better but that certainly doesn't mean I won't buy a C8 at some point. I think both body styles will age very nicely. Yes, I will probably wave at a few McLaren's by mistake, doubt they will return the favor :)

Now that's really funny … A sales guy actually came up to me
and all he wanted was my name. Only Parts and Service get
my name at Sherwood Park ...


My sales guy actually doesn't work there and already sold me a
couple of "these" and a few of "those" … so I am good.
