Today's weekend cruise was with Cariboocreek. A beautiful sunny spring day for a drive with the top down in a converible, reached a high of 21. We met at Peter's Drive in parking lot in Red Deer, then took a drive out to Sylvan Lake. A fair bit of ice was still left to melt by the lake shore. Finally got to see Al's new 2019 Grandsport, a nice ride! Once we arrived, the executive decision was made to go for ice cream at the Big Moo, socially distanced of course. After a good beard shampoo, we journeyed for a relaxing country cruise out to Stetler. At this point we both headed home. I took the slower route home via secondary hwy 21 and passed thru Camrose, them home. It sure was nice to forget about all of the world's problems for a while. A great day was had by all.

I make a number of trips to Martinsville every year to see my aging folks and to Saskatoon so my bride can see her mom. That’s enough Sask. per year for me....and before all the Saskites light their hair on fire, I grew up in Saskatoon. I like a little variety in scenery.....
