Oh My... I remember those Lil' red express trucks when they came out. They were considered fast for a stock pickup. A 360 4BBL in them I think. Used to be lots of goat ropers tearing all over the place with these in the 80s. My how things have changed....Your friend drives a Hemi now Mike?

Right on the money Derek. I had a buddy who bought his new in 78. 360 4BBL modified police engine... A whopping 225 HP...lol... And as much as we tore around Nova Scotia, we never once found a goat to rope....

No,him and I went our own ways. He later took his own life.

Sad ending Mike. I have had a friend or two from the day with the same ending. Never had a Lil Red Express truck though. Likely many in here with the same experience.
