Just stay at the Corvette Ranch. It's a long day, you don't need to add another 5 hours on top of it...
Never been to Vegas? Tack on a few days to check out the Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon its a a beautiful area to do some desert driving !
We just drove into Pahrump for dinner both nights. Great Chinese food buffet for $20 but there are about 50 places at least to eat in town. They do offer dinner options at the track restaurant, but selection did not entice us to eat there. Great included free breakfast and lunch provided.
The days starts promptly at 8:00am and ends at 4:00pm.
Save Las Vegas for when you are done at the track and spend a few days in Las Vegas. We spent 4 days and I found that to be enough for me as I don't gamble.

We saved Hoover Dam for the end of the stay as we checked out at 11:00am and spent the rest of day at Hoover Dam and stopped in Henderson for dinner. Check out the Texas Roadhouse for a great steak dinner.
Pay for the dam tour if you are going to the Hoover Dam. Well worth the extra $15.
Another attraction we found very interesting is the Mob Museum and while you are there check out the Shelby factory.
Also went to Battlefield Vegas to fire some guns. Cool experience.
We thought about the Grand Canyon, but it over four hours away. You would basically have to make the Grand Canyon a two day adventure to enjoy it properly.
I'm now one-month away from my trip to Vegas and it can't come any faster. I'm trying to plan out the days as I'm going with a buddy of mine.
For timing, I'm interested in knowing if Day 2 is longer because it's the last day. Is it basically a full day from 8am-4pm, and then they tack on the 'closing ceremony' stuff, like debriefing on the day, showing you the photos you can buy, etc.? I'm going on the Mon-Tues and my flight is leaving first thing Wed morning (7am), so I really only have the Tues PM to see the city. We're staying at Excalibur and have dinner reservations at Hell's Kitchen for 8pm. Thoughts on when the day ends in Parhump so I can figure out what attractions we can fit in before our 8pm dinner?

It was pretty close to 4 when we were on the road back to Vegas. You can of course skip the final debriefing and maybe get out 30-45 minutes earlier, but we stayed to get the full experience (and I also bought the picture package).
Pretty close to 4 finish and then drive back. Will probably hit traffic into town onto the strip. I wouldn’t plan much if you have hard set dinner plans.
If you have time, you should drive throught Death Valley National Park.

Just back from the Ron Fellows COS at Spring Mountain. It was a blast, would have liked one more 1/2 day to extend our on track time. Facility and staff are top notch, plenty of very good food options for dinner in Pahrump if you choose to go off property but it is not necessary as the clubhouse offers a solid menu. If you are the first owner of a new C8 or still inside 1 year from your delivery date, do all you can to take advantage of the certificate. You certainly will learn how impressive & capable the Stingray truly is. Our class of 18 was well attended by spouses.
I don't understand how in the hell you would want to take your "spouse/random" to a guy thing...

For us, it was a weekend trip to Vegas to do a bunch of other things as well. She watched some of the car stuff, but was mostly content to sit in the sun or work on her laptop while I was in the course. Not too terribly different than if we were at a hotel that day.

We had two female C8 owners in our class group. They were both in Red group but none the less still driving with the boys.
I wish my wife would have came on my trip to Spring Mountain, would have been nice to have someone pack up the suitcase when we left.
