I’m going to Ron Fellows Sept 16th-17th. Is anyone else going for that class?

It’s great I went last February and weather was great ( cool) so you don’t sweat to death on the track. No prep ahead just just show up and it’s all ready for you at the front gateI just signed up for the Ron Fellows training on Feb 3-4, 2025 and am pumped about it.
How was it? Any things that are important to know that you didn't anticipate?
Thanks!
I did the extra coverage which most don’t , I think only a few in the class did the extra coverage. 8k usd risk was my thought so it’s really your choice.Question - did you do the extra $200 USD to lower the insurance amount from $8K to $2K? Did you notice a lot of people with damage on their car?
Also, they just sent me a one-pager on photography... do you remember how much it was for this? Having a good shot of myself in the C8 around the track would be nice to hang at home. Thanks!
Did you get your certificate in the mail from GM or from the dealer when you took delivery of your car?I booked late October for temps and extend my driving season
Never got it, just email Spring Mountain with your VIN and delivery date, that’s all you need.Did you get your certificate in the mail from GM or from the dealer when you took delivery of your car?

I am currently in Las Vegas, and was at the Ron Fellows Corvette owners school on Monday and Tuesday. You will learn to drive you C8 better then you thought you could. With the ELSD this car drives and you have to drive it differently that I was used to when driving the Viper.Question - did you do the extra $200 USD to lower the insurance amount from $8K to $2K? I did not opt for the extra coverage based on confidence in my own driving abilities but my C8 owner friend whom was with me did opt for the extra coverage. Track is pretty forgiving but there are a couple of high speed sections that I can see were other previous classes over time have gone off. No one in the 18 drivers in the three class groups damaged the car but it has happened in the past.
The least expensive photo package for a minimum of 25 45mb JPEGS was $175 USD. Everyone gets a USB with a class photo but that is about it. If you are traveling with a companion there is a couple of spots that they should be able to capture a good photo of you in the car on track.
If you are going I would opt for the extra day of accommodations onsite as the facility is top notch. This would only be available for the day before you first class.
Yeah it was pretty much on schedule. You can get dinner there for a fee. Doable to drive back to Vegas and back to Pahrump but makes for long day. You would be getting to Vegas in rush hourThis is great info, thanks!!!
The day says it ends at 4pm - do you find that it ends on time? I'm wondering if it's worth driving the hour into Vegas for dinner, as I've found out that they don't serve dinner at the resort (only breakfast and lunch... is that right?). I've never been to Vegas and while I am prioritizing this driving experience, am still hoping to see if I can find time to take in the city/attractions.
