I have a question for anyone that has experience with coilovers. My car is a C7 with LG coilovers. I had to raise the height about 1/4" because the front spoiler was scrapping my driveway. I raised and measured both front shocks to be exactly the same height, however when I measure the fenders or the bumper on the right and left side, one side is almost 1/4" lower. The shock distance is the same but the body panel distance from the floor is off.
My question: Do I adjust the shocks to compensate or leave the shocks as they are?
Words of wisdom appreciated.

ONLY if the spring seats change or are adjustable.
Yes, the collars are adjustable for both. They are LG GT2 coilovers. I removed the OE springs so the coilovers take over the springs and the chocks. So back to my original question regarding the difference in height of the car?

OK, so? If the spring seats are the same height then my answer remains.

Did you measure the spring lengths?

Yes, the distance is exactly the same for both coilovers but when I measure the bottom of the left front vs. right front of the car, there is about 1/4 inch difference from the ground to the bottom of the bumper. Could the panels be off?? I think it's more important that the coilovers are the same distance from the top of the spring o the bottom of the collar. Thoughts??

Did you corner-balance the car after raising it, or did you just match the coilover heights and call it good? Also, have you checked if the preload or spring seating is identical side to side? And is the car on completely level ground when you’re measuring the fender heights?

It’s actually pretty common for the bumper or fender measurements to differ slightly even when both coilovers are set to the exact same length. Body panels are rarely perfectly symmetrical, and small variances in the bumper, fender fitment, or even worn bushings can easily create a 1/4" difference at the body line.

What matters most for suspension setup is that both coilovers match in preload and overall length from the top hat to the bottom collar, just like you mentioned. The chassis and body panels don’t always sit perfectly evenly, but the suspension should.

If the car drives straight, handles normally, and the corner weights aren’t wildly off, a small difference in bumper height isn’t something to worry about. A proper corner balance would be the only way to know for sure, but based on your description, the panels being slightly off is very possible.
