Any of you out there owned an earlier model C8, 2020, or, and traded it in for a newer one/C8?
The question is why? Any reason is welcomed. I am just curious.
I was thinking of trading mine in for more power but now cheaper going S.C.
As for an S.C. for my C8, I am waiting for the Canadian $ to go up because these things come from the USA and also not happy about their threats and tariffs to Canada.
I am in a wait and see mode. Also I hate trump and musk!!! ;) :p

Why do you think newer has more power? Other than a Z06 with more HP, but less TQ. or an Eray, with more combined HP until the battery is drained.

I was thinking Z06 or Eray. I would love ZR1 but I like my home. I do not want the wife leaving with her half. :D I find the prices and taxes are not worth the diff. So I will go S.C. I know for now , no diff in power for a C8 unlesZ51, which is negligible.

Z51 has NPP, so do I. It's a lot easier to add an aftermarket exhaust system than buying a new car.

A lot cheaper than a S.C. also.
If I switch the whole exhaust, to get more H.P. , I know it cancels the warranty on exhaust but you get one back from the new one from the manufacturer but does G.M. accept it and not cancel anything else? They would not let me install a C.A.Q. If I did it would cancel the engine warranty. :Ack2:

Exhausts systems after the cats are a wear item. They wear out and are not part of the emissions system. They can't void a warranty if you replace brake pads with aftermarket ones, nor can they void a warranty for an exhaust system. With that said, there is a good looking Canadian made system you could look at. I believe the fellow posted on here a while back. A search of the forum might find it or perhaps he is listening ... ;)

Did a search on the site but cannot find it. Will go search on the internet. thanks for the info.

Looks good and the weight diff is really good but how does it sound and does it work with our exhaust valves?
I thought you didn't have Z51 and no NPP?
If you have NPP then you'll want to find a set that does or you'll need the valve sims.

You are late in the news. :p I had ordered a non Z51 but was forced to buy one or they would of skipped to the next buyer. So yes I do own a 2023, HTC, Z51, 2LT. If I buy an exhaust I want it to give max H.P. and work with active valves like Valvetronic.:Woohoo:

Well, I credit you for totally confusing me! lol.

Already found videos and kinda plain sound. No better than original.
Take the route we did as kids in the old days for better sound.....Drill a few 1 inch holes in the bottoms of your mufflers. Make sure you get one at the low point to drain moisture. ;)

Corvette C8 Z06 (https://valvedexhausts.ca/products/corvette-c8-z06)

This is another option for valved exhausts. They only show the Z06 exhaust on the website but they do sell one for the Stingray....for the same price. I don't know how Canadian the exhaust is as I have seen many that look the same elsewhere. I am pretty sure that they are fabricated in another country.

I spoke with this company on IG and they will update their site with the Stingray exhaust today.
