My z06 has the aero package with exposed carbon fiber and it's gorgeous. However it juts out ~4" in the front and widens the front end 1" on the sides. I'm nervous about wrecking it so figured I would proactively figure out the replacement cost for a worst case scenario.
Researched but couldn't find any info online so called GM parts and figured I would share.
- Front splitter is available as 3 individual pieces: front, left and right side. Each piece is around $2200 CAD so around $7000 CAD total.
Yikes.
- Dive planes/canards are $950 CAD each side.
For the street I'm going to replace the oem splitter with aftermarket. EOS has a unit, exposed CF that is $1000 cad shipped. They sell the dive plains as a pair for ~$700 shipped.
Will update once I receive and compare the quality/fitment side by side.
