Ponoka Alberta Meet and Greet - May 6th, 2023

Right now I see the Ponoka forecast is 60% chance of rain and temperatures 6 (low) to 14 (high).

But that's 9 days away; a lot can change in the meantime. Here's hoping it ++ improves.

Is it true Rruuff Day that we'll have free food and beer there along with a free car wash, or is that just a rumour to increase attendance? (lol)

lol... Sorry, No freebies in the plans... And not sure what weather you are watching.... My Weather Network says +17 for a high and 30% chance of rain but you are right. That's a long ways off yet.

Only six days away now. Forecast is for a high of 20 and sunshine. Anyone from the south or Red Deer area wants to meet up for the drive to Ponoka, I will be at the East side Gasoline Alley A & W between 9:00 and 9:15 am to refill my coffee mug. For those not familiar, that's the A & W on the East side of Hwy 2. Take the McKenzie road off ramp #391, go through the traffic circle and north down the service road a couple kms. I will be sticking around until 9:30 or so before leaving for Ponoka. The Car wash in Ponoka is on Hwy 2A on the South end of Ponoka, West side of the road.
Oh yeah. Gas up before the meet cause when we leave for the lake, there won't be any stops.

Are you recording times again this year for fastest around the traffic circle? :Biggrin:
