I don't have to. It automatically connects to Bluetooth. If that is what you mean. Or are you talking about Android auto or Apple crap? Why, do I have to reconnect, my Smart phone, every time I enter my C8? Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?
I have Android system, Samsung. Every time I get in the C8 , it says connect a phone. All my other cars , seem to keep it in memory.I don't have to. It automatically connects to Bluetooth. If that is what you mean. Or are you talking about Android auto or Apple crap?
So you mean Bluetooth? If so, try turning off Bluetooth on the phone and turning it back on and then pair it. I had to do that sometimes with certain bluetooth devices. A very recent phone , 2021 I think. I will try your suggestion, right now.So you mean Bluetooth? If so, try turning off Bluetooth on the phone and turning it back on and then pair it. I had to do that sometimes with certain bluetooth devices. Is it a new Samsung BTW?
Ok, re-tried , so later, I will get my in the car and see what happens, thank you.So you mean Bluetooth? If so, try turning off Bluetooth on the phone and turning it back on and then pair it. I had to do that sometimes with certain bluetooth devices. Is it a new Samsung BTW?
Ha!! good excuse to take the car out. Another dealership run for "pairing" phone.......I like it.That's not normal. Hopefully that fixes it but if it persists, see a dealer to figure it out. Once you "pair" the phone with your car, it should automatically "talk" to your car, every time you get in and power-up the car.
Cannot go for a ride, it is still in storage and lots of snow and potholes. I am going back now to check it out.Ha!! good excuse to take the car out. Another dealership run for "pairing" phone.......I like it.
My phone is the one that does not get along with this site.my iPhone and the car work perfectly together
Never had problems before. My wife s Volt gives me no problem. That's why I asked what year it was. Older Samsung's may have Bluetooth 4 which was a little flakeyMy phone is the one that does not get along with this site.Never had problems before. My wife s Volt gives me no problem.
Oh ok. Why would it work with other cars but not this one? I got in touch with ONSTAR and they could not do it either. Next step is dealership , in April, maybe. That's why I asked what year it was. Older Samsung's may have Bluetooth 4 which was a little flakey
Flakey means hit or miss. The Volt might be more tolerant to that sort of thing. OR you got a lemon!Oh ok. Why would it work with other cars but not this one? I got in touch with ONSTAR and they could not do it either. Next step is dealership , in April, maybe.
Yes, done it over and over. I will try again tomorrow. I even spoke to OnStar technician.Wlgj, have you run through pages 144-148 of your owners manual to make sure your phone is paired properly?
Anything one can do to avoid the dealership is NEVER EVER a waste of time! They always manage to screw something up.Your all wasting your time with the manual. Road trip required. It's like when the wife ask for a stamp or pencil sharpener and it takes all day looking for one.
