PDR SD Card?

I bought this SD card for my PDR because I some how lost mine; however, it does not fit in the slot. Do I need something else? I used Google to access a good choice and this is the one recommended.

Sure it fits. Make sure your old one is not in there. LOL

System shows no SD card. So, R U saying this one should fit in no problem. The access point is not well lit and I have poor eyesight; but, it does look like one might be in the slot upside down? My car needed serious repairs due to rock ripping through the underside destroying all the panels and hitting the oil pain for the transmission oil which all leaked out. Car at shop for over two months. Maybe they had the SD card out and installed incorrectly? I will take to dealer today and have someone look for me .

I really doubt they put it in upside down. They don't fit upside down short of using a hammer.

Ya, RRuuff is right. It won't go in upside down, but the car can fail to read the card and state it isn't there. Seen that first hand.

Egg on my face. Just got home from the dealer - there was a SD card, but, inserted in wrong position. I got the best girl to look for me: better eyes, long fingernails and was able to remove it and put it in properly. Who and the hell did that? No idea. Been in a shop for 4 months. Anyway, problem solved. No fun getting old!!

Looks like the right one! I assume you know that it goes in the door frame (left side) to the glove box, not the center console. Make sure there is not a card in there already, easy to do. Correct orientation is also critical.

When you go into settings to set it up you have the option of having the system format the card for you. It will however remove all existing data on the card but not an issue obviously if it’s a new card.

Never had to format the SD card. Slide it in and away we do.
