OEM wheel?

Is this wheel an OEM option for the C3? I have them on my car (not mine pictured) and I've seen them on a few other 81/82 C3s but I can't find anything that lists them as a dealer option?

I've never seen these an an OEM for a C3 but there are lots of C3 owners on the forum with a heck of a lot more C3 knowledge than me that I'm sure will toss in their expertise....

I do not recall those wheels being factory supplied but who knows.

They look very much BBS wheels that were very popular, and still are I guess, on Corvette and some slower cars as well.

One of the cars from Saskatchewan at the CU event had those rims. Looks pretty sharp I think.

He's had it forever.
Not stock wheels.
I think they might be FireBird wheels from T/As back in the day.
They are a lightweight wheel alternative back when there wasn't a big wheel choice available in the market.

I think you are right on the mark Graham..Had a fellow down the road from me back in about 77 or so had a T/A ... those wheels sure looked like his... Colour and all... Good Call....

The ones I've seen (mine included) the centers are coloured to match the car.

To the best of my knowledge where I sit right now those are not stock (nor Factory option). Steel rallies would have been stock and the only wheel option being aluminum. Below:

Those wheels have to be very difficult to keep clean. Lots of places for dirt and grime to hide there.

Thanks everyone, now I have to decide to keep them or buy some originals? (I'm leaning towards keeping them) Although my car is pretty much original except for the stereo it will never be a collector

Put on whatever makes you happy Brett. Individualism seems to be a trait of Corvette owners.

Those GTA wheels look great on the Corvettes. The polished wheels with the rectangular slots look awfully nice too and would be a whole lot easier to clean. At my age, that is really important.
