I sometimes travel 250 km stretches of highway with no cell service so you have to be prepared for all eventualities. Especially when it’s-40 . Of course that wouldn’t be the case with my C8 as I store it . But even in the summer you are still sometimes at least 250km from a tow truck let alone a flat bed which is the only safe way of moving these vehicles. As for inserting a plug you have a good point. I have yet to try but I may add a cordless drill to the kit . Thanks.Yup, I had one. Have you ever tried to put a plug in a Connie Extreme Contact or a Michelin Pilot? Nye on impossible without using a power drill to get through the tread material. While on the road, I don't carry a jack, a power drill and a patch kit. I do carry the phone number for GM Roadside and/or OnStar. Excellent service.
