Nice Day in SO...

I thought about it but there's still lots of sand and gravel on the roads up here in the snow belt. Speaking of umbilical cords.. who leaves their C8 plugged in to the corvette charger 24/7 vs once a month (or so)? I know with most new cars there's quite a draw on the battery when it's just sitting, thanks to all the connectivity etc.

Sorry. don't have a C8 but my C7 stays on the battery tender full time for 6 months as well as my plow truck, diesel truck, skid steer, ATV and farm tractor. I swear by them for extended battery life in the winter especially. My C7 battery is coming up on 10 years old and still performs as new. I did have to change my diesel truck batteries after 16 years and my ATV after 9 years..... Make sure you use tender/maintainers and not actual chargers unless they have a float switch.

Thanks. I’m using the corvette charger that came with it.. seems to work pretty slick plugging it into the port in the frunk and leaving it on the first latch to keep it open a bit 👍
You may not have to keep your frunk slightly open. I have a 2025 stingray and there is a small space between the windshield and the upper part of the frunk, on the passanger side, where the wire nicely fits through.

The frunk is sealed with rubber. You don't want to ruin the rubber. There is no harm in leaving the frunk slightly ajar.

Yes, right after the rubber there is a little gap
Then it won't be sealed. All the water goes down the windshield and into the frunk area. and is supposed to go out above the frunk seal, but it doesn't all go out that easily. If there is any gap the frunk won't be sealed.
Not to mention mice getting in through any cracks.

Wait a few more years and it won't matter. There will be a charge port to plug your Vette into.

Spring/Summer/Fall's are on...
