Hey, welcome to the forum. Very nice looking car and I wish you the best of luck with it.

The car looks great. I have an identical one but its the 2005 model. Are you able to lift the roof out on your own?
Hi EH. Neither the Lexan or the solid roof are especially heavy but they are somewhat awkward and take a bit of getting use to to remove and re-install by yourself.
This is pretty much the way I do it...

Open the rear hatch first and make sure there is nothing in your way of setting the removed top down
Open both windows
Release both front latches
Release the rear latch
Get out
From one side or the other...I do drivers, grasp mid point side of the top with left hand, mid point other side with right hand
Lift up and forward clear of the car and back up until you are clear
Walk to the rear, whatever side you are on, and from the side, set the top gently into the rear hatch, the same way you removed it
Then walk around to the rear of the car and fine tune the positioning into the front slides and snap it down into place at the rear pins
That's pretty much it and in reverse order putting it back on...

I still would recommend doing it a few times with help standing by in case you need it...

Hope that helps..

That's great, thank you! I'm waiting for a nice hot day to take it off. I love the clear roof the rest of the time. My only (tiny) complaint it is that it gets quite hot in the car due to the transparency but it is very well tinted so it is not bright.
