Hey folks, got my first vette, 08 Z06 Jetstream blue . Love everything about it, got my Borla S-Type exhaust did a little tint, trying to do a little personalizing. New to the forum, quick question looking to up the anti with the rims for next spring. Do you suggest going with 19 on the front and 20 on the back or just leave well enough alone. Any constructive response is appreciated

Joe congratulations on your new car. Sounds beautiful, the Jet Steam Blue looks really spectular.

I know mine is a C5 but I went with 19's all around. Make sure you check the availability of tires before making a decision. Originally my Z06 had 17" rims on the front and trying to find tires was tough.

Any thoughts of what wheels you might purchase?

J B is awesome and one I would buy. A friend has a base coupe with s/c with top of the line interior option and it is spectacular.

I'd love to see pics too -- I think we all would when you can.

Hey Joe...i have a 13' C6Z and from the factory it came with the staggered rims...19's on front and 20's on back. Gives the car an aggressive look and stance. I run the michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires...and they are awesome! Congrats on your new ride......

I have an 06 c6 z06 and upgraded to the zr1 rims (19 and 20's) with PS2's all round. I love the upgrade and wouldn't go back to stock.

Wow thanks for all the reply's , I will post pics just been a little busy my boy got married on Saturday still recouping. Lol . One more question I'd like a tire with a little more grip what would you guys suggest?

Well boys and girls here are some pics, since these pics Borla S-Type was installed and a small tint to windows but i do believe i have just purchased some XO Luxury rims down in Cali ,good price i might add. I know I've got all winter to pick up tires but where would i be able to get 19 x 10 for the front and 20 x 12 for the rear at a reasonable cost mounted with sensors of course. Any help would be greatly appreciated

As for tire, the Michelin pilot super sports or for maximum traction, sport cup 2 or Bridgestone Potenza RE-11.

Hey Jeff i did consider the Corsa extreme but i was talked into the Borla S-Type because i was a little concerned for too much drone. Have to tell you i am very happy i did get the Borla awesome sound.
